Laboratory Technical Coordinator - Clinical Laboratory Services

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Laboratory Technical Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to laboratory staff.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
- Ordering and managing laboratory supplies.
- Preparing and maintaining laboratory documentation.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure the efficient flow of work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in a chemical or biological science as defined by CLIA.
- 2 years clinical lab experience in the designed lab area/specialty
- Skilled multi-tasker, clear communicator, and active listener who knows the right questions to in order to understand the teams’ needs.
- Medical Tech License or CLS License required.
- Fire Safety Card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date).
